I was wondering that because i heard about some of them but im not sure where. Would be nice if you could tell me the location

You can still find barrel's in Pre-Searing in Prophecies.

There are also reward chest's in FoW (and UW? not sure) that don't require key's - although the other chest's in FoW (UW?) do need key's.

Yes, you get reward chests in UW also (releiving kamatsu's doubts).

Don't forget the reward chests in the Kilroy Stonekin quest in Sorrow's Furnace. An incredibly easy, infinitely repeatable and FUN quest!

yes that one must not be missed, it contains one of the leetest weapons in the game ^^

I'm pretty sure the OP wasn't really asking about a chest that gives you your starter weapon. I don't know , I might be wrong here.

In the Fort Ranik Mission there is one wreckage that drops items that aren't part of the catapult. Not good stuff, but it exists.
